During my hunting and camping trip I will be sharing some of my favorite recipes for moose meat. Lets start with one that is basic and an essential when cooking big game - the best big game marinade recipe I have ever tries.

1/3 cup soy sauce
1/2 cup olive oil
1/3 cup lemon juice
1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
1 tbsp garlic powder
3 tbsp dried basil
1 tbsp parsley
Dash of pepper

Combine all ingredients in a large Ziploc or dish and marinate for 6-24 hours.

As many of you know, I love to cook and the kitchen has always been one of my happy places. Yesterday I finally did my first cooking show while broadcasting and cannot wait to do more. I love experimenting and always appreciate being given new recipes to try. With September approaching I wanted to let you guys know that I will be going on an adventure in the woods. I will be doing some hunting, nature walks, campfires and of course, spending some time in my travel trailer and tent! I cannot wait to show you all the beautiful sights and have some fun in the great outdoors!

After glamping in a trailer for so long I decided to buy a tent and some other camping gear and would love some company while I cam from it. Although there are other campers around and I need to be careful not to get caught, It's actually been really fun being sneaky ;) Drop by and check me out!

This weekend (Aug 20-22) I will be staying in a hotel and spending lots of time online! It has been so long since I have been away from Mom on our camping trip and hope to have lots of fun on my getaway! ;)

Lately I've been asked a lot about some of my favorite foods to cook are and thought you guys would love this recipe. It's simple and delicious...and will scare vampires away for days lol

1 1/2 lbs small red potatoes; quartered, skins on
1 1/2 tsp salt, divided
1/4 tsp black pepper
1 tsp garlic powder
1/2 cup sour cream
1/2 cup grated Parmesan
1/4 cup unsalted butter; cut into pieces

Place potatoes in a large pot, add enough water to cover potatoes. Stir in 1 tsp salt. Bring to a boil, reduce heat, cover and simmer about 20 to 25 minutes.

Meanwhile, in a large bowl, place the pepper, garlic powder, sour cream, butter, Parmesan and remaining salt. Using an electric mixer, mix until well combined.

When the potato pierce easily, remove from heat and drain. Add potatoes to the bowl with the other ingredients and mix on medium speed until mostly smooth. Do not over blend.

As some as you may know I am currently on a camping trip with my mom and will be on the road for the majority of the summer.
